Stuart MacDonald is Managing Partner of corporate finance firm, Bride Valley Partners and Senior Advisor to a Hedge Fund, a Web3 Fintech, a Zero Emissions Shipbuilder, a Family Office and an Impact VC. With particular expertise in strategy, high level representation and capital raising, he has over 35 years’ experience of working with alternative investment managers (Digital Assets, Hedge Funds, VC, Real Assets) and bankable technologies (DLT/ Crypto, Telecoms, Healthcare, Fintech, AgroFood Tech).

Previously, he was Chairman of Aaro Capital, Managing Director at Aquila Capital and Director of Hedge Funds at Henderson Global Investors. His alternative investments industry awards include two for Outstanding Industry Contribution and one for Best Investor Relations globally. He frequently chairs and moderates at leading conferences, ranging from Alternative Investments to Risk to BioAg to Shipping. 

Stuart also presents the award-winning alternative investments radio show, the Naked Short Club, serves on several charity, NGO and Arts sector boards and has been a Visiting Lecturer at London University.
